Bruna Missing is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.

Bruna Missing Walkthrough
- When you reach Maye Town, speak to Captain Carl at the Gate Outpost to learn more about the disappearance of Bruna.
- Speak to the townspeople to hear about the gossip regarding the case.
- Head to the Bruna's Home in the Village and speak to Tangerine. Question her about Bruna's relationship between Gram and the Professor.
- Explore the Valley where you'll find a Corner of Cloth Scrap by the waterfalls.
- Bug: sometimes upon picking it up Leila's journal gets updated incorrectly, and nothing can be done with the item.
- Head to the Secret Trail and defeat the Brood Mother.
- Speak to Bruna to get Ruby Necklace and Cemetery Key from her.
- To finish the quest head back to Tangerine in the Village and give her the Ruby Necklace; you'll be given the Ruby Ring in exchange.
Bruna Missing Notes, Tips, and Trivia
- If you re-enter Bruna's Home after completing the quest to you will find Tangerine cradling a baby in her arms. Just like Bruna, this child is an orphan from the Church, and speaking to Tangerine will reveal that she's thinking about naming the baby Bruna too.
- Drew might be a descendant of this orphan. Upon completing his quest he tells Leila about his ancestor, a girl who "grew up to become a monster", but it's not very likely that it was Brood Mother herself. It's more likely that the second girl adopted by Tangerine simply ended up inheriting her big sister's reputation with the help of villagers' gossip.
AnonymousHi, if you are looking for Tangerine (necklace return), she's specifically located in the Village not in Maye Town. Take the portal to location A5 and go straight down to the area, enter "Brunas's Home", talk to Tangerine, then speak to her again and you'll be able to give her back the necklace and you'll obtain the Ruby Ring !

How do I get Tangerine to accept the necklace? She just keeps telling me to get it away from her and the quest in the notes screen has a green checkmark next to it.

I tried to return the ruby necklace back to the mother but she isn’t accepting it?
so i completed this but i did not get any green checkmark on find bruna and villager's gosip only inform tangerine did i do something its quite glitchy
