Beyond the Limits is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.

- Speak to the Blademaster
- Show swords to the Blademaster
- Bring materials requested by the Blademaster
- Leave and return to obtain the reward.

Beyond the Limits Walkthrough
- You can find the Blademaster in Depressing Forest, on the edge that leads to the Cat Isle.
- Upon speaking to the Blademaster, he will ask Leila to show him swords in her possession.
- List of weapons the Blademaster will accept and give a reward for:
- Ancient Vigilant's Sword - Cursed Stone
- Fallen Amaterasu - Glowing Ember
- Glorious Guard's Blade - Cursed Stone
- Head of Uptancos - Glowing Ember
- Lagh Blade - Cursed Stone
- Nameless Blade - Thorite Crystal
- Owl Claymore - - Thorite Crystal
- Sword of Wallace - Thorite Crystal
- Sword of the Other God - Glowing Ember
- Simply equip one of listed weapons (one at the time or three at once) to show them to the Blademaster.
- After you show the Blademaster three weapons and speak to him again, he will give you Ancestral Prescription which lists items he needs for a ritual:
- Bring the Blademaster requested items, then teleport away and come back.
- Interact with the Blademaster again to obtain Dead Branch.
