Inform the Captain is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.
Inform the Captain Objectives
- Defeat The Craving Terror.
- Head to Maye Town (Prologue) and speak to Vice Captain at the gate.
- Report to Captain Carl in the Gate Outpost.

- Time Limit: Yes. Vice Captain leaves permanently if not spoken to before you talk to Captain Carl or exit Maye Town.

- After defeating The Craving Terror at the Mountain Pass (Prologue) make your way to Maye Town (Prologue) where you'll meet the Vice Captain.
- Speak to the Vice Captain and he'll ask you to report to Captain Carl who's at the Gate Outpost.
- Captain Carl can be found in his quarters at the top floor of the Gate Outpost.
- Speak to him to close the quest and you'll be rewarded with an Iron Halberd.
