Mysterious Plague is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.

- Check with the Doctor and see how the plague is processing.
- Investigate the Flooded Area.
- Investigate the Mine.
- Dawn believes the plague is caused by polluted water from Bufonitte Lake.

Mysterious Plague Walkthrough
- When you return to Maye Town, head to the Asylum and speak to the Doctor who's in his office on the second floor.
- He'll talk to you about investigating certain areas regarding the source of the plague. First, he'll ask you to check the Flooded Area.
- Simply explore the area until you find the boss Kelpie, Lord of Tide, defeat it and head back to the Asylum to report back to the doctor.
- Next, he'll ask you to investigate the Mine. Explore the area and defeat the boss of the location, the Erupting Flesh Cluster.
- Return to the Doctor to report your findings and he'll ask you about checking Bufonitte Lake. He'll also mention a woman named Dawn who also suspects that the plague is coming from the lake.
- Head to the Village and speak to Dawn in her home. After talking to her, work your way to the lake and investigate the area.
- Simply defeat the boss which is the Lord of the Misty Lake and then return back to Dawn, followed by the Doctor to report your findings.
