Glorious Guard is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.

Glorious Guard Objectives

• Find the Helmet.
• Help Steve find his helmet.
• Guard Duran.
• Return the letters to Duran.
• Defeat the Brood Mother.
• Speak to Duran at the Maye Bridge.

• Location: Maye Town (Prologue)
• Quest Giver: Steve
• Time Limit: Yes. Must be completed before defeating The Ancient Guard.

• Side quest Descendent of the Guard becomes available in Act 2.

Glorious Guard Walkthrough

• When you arrive at Maye Bridge (Prologue), head east to find the Stinky Helmet.
• Proceed to Maye Town (Prologue) and head to the Gate Outpost. Speak to the guard named Steve who's standing by the balcony on the second floor.
• Give him the helmet and he'll hand you the Collection of Duran's Letters.
• Go back to the gate of Maye Bridge (Prologue) and speak to Duran.
• When you're given a chance to respond to him, select "Indeed, nobody knows what kind of "door" they guarded." Leila hands over the letters to Duran and he'll reward you with the Rose Ring.
• Complete the quest Bruna Missing and then return back to Duran at the Maye Bridge (Prologue) to close this quest.
