Glorious Guard is a Quest in Vigil: The Longest Night. Quests are tasks given by the various NPCs in Maye, Leila can obtain unique rewards for completing these tasks. To view your progress of a quest, open the side menu, and cycle to Leila's notes.
Glorious Guard Objectives
- Find the Helmet.
- Help Steve find his helmet.
- Guard Duran.
- Return the letters to Duran.
- Defeat the Brood Mother.
- Speak to Duran at the Maye Bridge.

- Location: Maye Bridge, Maye Town
- Quest Giver: Steve
- Time Limit: Yes. Must be completed before defeating The Ancient Guard.

- Side quest Descendent of the Guard becomes available in Act 2.
Glorious Guard Walkthrough
- When you arrive at Maye Bridge, head east to find the Stinky Helmet.
- Proceed to Maye Town and head to the Gate Outpost. Speak to the guard named Steve who's standing by the balcony on the second floor.
- Give him the helmet and he'll hand you the Collection of Duran's Letters.
- Go back to the gate of Maye Bridge and speak to Duran.
- When you're given a chance to respond to him, select "Indeed, nobody knows what kind of "door" they guarded." Leila hands over the letters to Duran and he'll reward you with the Rose Ring.
- Complete the quest Bruna Missing and then return back to Duran at the Maye Bridge to close this quest.
