Dead Leaf Butterfly Ring is a Ring in Vigil: The Longest Night. Rings are accessories worn by Leila, a player can choose and equip up to four different rings that provide different buffs and effects that can benefit in battle and during exploration. Rings can be obtained in different ways, such as by looting chests, dropped by killed Enemies or Bosses, given by NPCs, and are acquired as a reward for completing a Quest.

    • Spawns small shiny butterflies around Leila.
  • Price listed in the inventory: 2000 Gold
  • Can be sold for 1200 Gold.

 

Dead Leaf Butterfly Ring Acquisition

  • Cemetery (Prologue): from A8 Owl Statue go west and climb on the platform above. Roughly in the middle of the elevated area you will be able to drop down into a small secret area.
    • There's a platform below the exit from the secret area, visible on the map.
  • (Act 2&3) Cemetery: from E1 Owl Statue slide under the gate on the left and run up the stairs until you see broken steps under two sets of lit candles. Drop down from that spot and then slide into the left wall to find a chest which contains the ring.

      This can also be acquired in the cemetery in ACT I. To get it in the first act, go west, pass the owl statue behind the lantern gate and jump over the gap; you will pass two statues and a ghoul-looking monster. After beating the ghoul, look up at where the ghoul originally jumped down from - a tree branch. double jump onto the tree branch and then jump up to enter a secret area. From there, you can get the Dead Leaf Butterfly Ring here. Alternatively, you can also reach this same area by jumping down a wooden plank, which is left to the room where Sauna's gloves are located in. The area where the wooden plank is at is guarded by a skeleton archer and two bats.
