Black Coat is a Clothing Armor in Vigil: The Longest Night. Clothes is an armor piece worn by Leila, it grants defensive properties, various buffs, and changes her appearance when it is worn. Players can choose for helms to be either equipped with its respective set or randomly with other pieces, it can be obtained in different ways, such as by looting chests, dropped by killed Enemies or Bosses, given by NPCs, and are acquired as a reward for completing a Quest.
A perfect reproduction of the original item. Tara much preferred black to rustic, earthly colors, believing only black matched its green eyes.

- This armor piece can be upgraded by forging it with Shimmer Stones. The max level players can strengthen it is +7.
- There are six Gems in total, each of them provides two unique abilities for armor and weapons. After selecting equipment in the Enchant Menu, cycle left or right to choose gems and up or down to affix them.

AnonymousWas able to reach the ledge without the Air Dash. Just use the moth at the highest branch above the Hunter's House before it starts moving. Then attack midair to hold on a bit of momentum
It is tricky, but doable. As for the guardian, it didn't follow me back to the ledge, so I could spam fireball until it was dead. But unfortunately no drop

Glitch on switch. Have gotten several pieces of black armor and none show up. Thought because I had too much inventory so got rid of a bunch. Went back and got another piece of black armor and it still doesn’t show up in my inventory. These bugs are killing me

You can use an arcane item, Hand of Glory, to "steal" the entire set + a weapon from mentioned mini boss.

Its not found as an item inside the secret area that's on the west side of the hunters cabin owl lantern. There is a special somewhat difficult miniboss that drops the Black set piece by piece per kill.
Use hand of glory midair to grab the ledge.
