Forge Materials is an item category in Vigil: The Longest Night. These items such as Shimmer Stones and Crystals, Shards, Stones, and many more are mainly used to enchant Leila's Weapons and Armor which increases the equipment's stats and by adding various buffs and effects. The maximum level of a weapon or armor piece can only be increased to +7, apart from that, Rings and other equipment cannot be upgraded or enchanted - this page covers a list of all the Forge Materials found in the game.
Forging Equipment
All equipment can be forged, except for rings. Forging increases the stats of the weapon up to 175%; helms and masks up to 115%; gloves and boots up to 138%, and clothes up to 175%. Use Shimmer Stones to level up equipment to a max level of +7.
Apart from using forge materials, players will need to spend a certain amount of Gold to push through with the process of forging an item.
Enchanting Equipment
All equipment can be enchanted, except for rings. There are six Gems in total, each of them provides two unique abilities for armor and weapons. After selecting equipment in the Enchant Menu, cycle left or right to choose gems and up or down to pick abilities.
Notice! An item can only be enchanted ONCE. An older gem's effect will be replaced if you re-enchant it. Apart from using forge materials, players will need to spend a certain amount of Gold to push through with the process of forging an item.
