Thurber W. Sungi Information
Thurber W. Sungi is an agent of the Emperor, sent from the capital to investigate disturbances around Maye Town. He reveals to Leila that there's a talk of heathens hiding in Maye Town, and that people have been reported vanishing in all of the region. Leila agrees to help the detective with his investigation. That initiates the side quest Royal Detective.
When the player brings him the Small Folded Note that was dropped by Bruna Thurber W. Sungi suggests Leila visits places that Bruna used to frequent to find more clues. After giving him Crumpled Blank Letter from the School initiate a conversation a couple more times for Thurber W. Sungi to decipher it. He confirms that the Professor is behind kidnappings and human experiments, and announces that he must leave to the capital immediately, and that trusts Leila to deal with the Professor in his stead. He then gifts Leila his personal weapon, the Slingshot, and leaves.
If the player speaks to Thurber W. Sungi with Blood of the Sacredwood in their inventory he will be repulsed by it, stating that it smells like rotten blood and fish. After a quick examination he will admit to having no idea what it's for, and suggests that Leila either drinks it, or just gets rid of it.
