Silvia is an NPC in Vigil the Longest Night. NPCs are characters that can be interacted with or are shown in the game. NPCs are characters that add contrast to the game's lore where they provide information, some are categorized as quest givers, while others are categorized as Merchants whom you can trade with or request for certain services.

Silvia Information

Silvia is a young, well-dressed woman who can be found in Limestone Way. She asks Leila to bring her three mystic items from the Outer Realms in order to prevent her older sister, Janis, from leaving this world - a task that Silvia considers to be Leila's duty, as it was Leila who opened the Gate and gave Janis an opportunity to leave in the first place. Giving Silvia Eternal Daylight starts a sidequest called The Twins. In exchange for requested items Silvia gifts Leila several arcane items and a Metallic Ocarina.

Silvia's real identity is Satis, the Goddess of Beauty. She and her older sister Janis are the oldest known incarnations of blonde twins. Silvia appears to have some kind of rivalry with Janis and is looking to ruin her plans, for better or for worse. Silvia struggles to communicate using human words, which suggests that her true form is something else.

Silvia Location

• Limestone Way: Silvia can be found not far from C6 Owl statue. Climb the ladder to the left of the statue, Silvia will be standing on one of small platfoms held in the air by vines.
  
  • Silvia will remain there as long as you haven't given Eternal Daylight to Janis.

  • "The oldest incarnations are the most powerful. Like sunrise and sunset, we can't see one another, but we are connected. Is there any way to sever this bond?"

  • "What are you talking about? Sunrise?"

• Silvia:
  • "One of the reasons I love humans is that you never believe what you haven't seen."
  • "You opened the Gate. Now my sister wants to leave but... she shouldn't. I think it's your responsibility to help me stop her."
• Leila:
  • "What do you need me to do?"
• Silvia:
  • "If my dearest big sis wants to leave here, she will need the Eternal Daylight, and all the power that comes with it."

  • "Please understand that making no choice is a decision in itself, and may bring the most serious consequences."

Give the Eternal Daylight

• Silvia:
  • "Have you decided to trust me? I have so many things to warn you of, to remind you of, but most importantly I must let you know··· ah··· so difficult, the language of humans..."
  • "Even without the Eternal Daylight, my sister can still gain the power through other means. We need to move faster than her."
  • "Bring me Eternal Gaze. If you haven't found the key yet, I gave it to an artist named Hugh for safekeeping."

Silvia Notes & Tips

• Picking either sister does not appear to have any effect on the game aside from the set of Arcane Items received as a reward.
• The description of Frost Breath suggests that Silvia and Janis' rivalry was the catalyst behind the Northern Kingdom's transformation into The Frozen Realm.
