Mick is an NPC in Vigil the Longest Night. NPCs are characters that can be interacted with or are shown in the game. NPCs are characters that add contrast to the game's lore where they provide information, some are categorized as quest givers, while others are categorized as Merchants whom you can trade with or request for certain services.

Mick Information

Mick was one of miners who worked in the Mine. According to Miner Pierre Mick had a talent for finding Shimmer Stones and was able to hoard some for himself. The owner of the mine, Fisher, overheard Mick talking about his cache and forced Mick to surrender the stones to him. Other miners suspected that Mick had another stash somewhere, as he frequently would go back to Dormitory in the middle of the work day, but no one ever told Fisher because everyone hated him.

Delirious Mick can be found in the Mine guarding a small deposit of Shimmer Stones which contains Triangular Shimmer Stone x1. If the player tries to walk past Mick to collect it he will immediately transform into an Explosive Miner and attack Leila. Should the player choose to leave Mick alone he will simply remain on the spot for the rest of the game. He cannot be rescued.

Mick's rumored stash of Shimmer Stones is a subject of a side quest called Blessing from the Shimmer. It is located in a small cave that can be accessed through the floor in the Dormitory of the Mine Site. The player might also stumble upon the stash by themselves while exploring the Mine Site. Triggering the quest by speaking to Miner Pierre is not necessary.
