Subsequent Visits

Not all areas of Maye Town are available from the start. After certain conditions are met following changes happen to this area:

Fire wall that blocks Maye Sewer entrance can be destroyed by Hand of Flames.
Home becomes available for purchase after you beat one of bosses required for Mysterious Plague quest.
To unlock the Kitchen in the Tavern you must progress quest Mysterious Plague by beating Kelpie, Lord of Tide and either of the remaining bosses.
Noax will gift you a Weird Puppet if you complete her sidequest and progress quest Mysterious Plague (same requirement as for unlocking the Kitchen).
In order to unlock Doctor's Home you must progress sidequest Mysterious Person.

Following NPC appear in Maye Town under specific conditions:

Buffe appears after you progress quest Mysterious Plague.
Carlos appears in Maye Town only during sidequest Mysterious Person.
Miner Pierre joins Clay if he was rescued from the Mine.
Foreman Edward moves to the Tavern if sidequest Rescue The Survivors was completed.
