Erupting Flesh Cluster in Vigil: the Longest Night is a Boss. A cluster of once human beings turned monsters, the Erupting Flesh Cluster is an immobile creature that spurs out flames. Bosses are special Enemies that are uniquely named and must be defeated in order to unlock new areas, to progress the game, and to obtain various rewards.

Strategy Writeup
For this boss, you might want to stock up in arrows and bring your Bow, just don't bring any fire-based items such as Fire Arrows, Dynamites, and/or Molotovs since it's strong against fire. The Erupting Flesh Cluster is an immobile boss so you'll have to hop onto the moving platforms to reach it. Usually, it will start by spitting out a stream of fire towards the direction you are at, so either on the left or right side. When this happens, position yourself towards the side where there are no flames and attack it.
One of its tricky attacks is when it shoots small fireballs that bounce off the ground and then split into smaller balls when it reaches the ceiling and then bounces back towards Leila. Most of the time, it will try to shoot out small fireballs in random directions, so all you have to do is to watch its movement and try to avoid it by repositioning yourself towards the gaps. When it starts to go berserk, it will release a stream of fire in all directions, you'll want to make sure you're on the moving platforms to avoid getting hit and getting the burning effect. Maintain your distance and use your Bow to attack it from afar.

- Stream of Fire: Maintain your distance and stay away from the direction of the flame. If it shoots at the ground, stay on the moving platforms, and wait for the flames to disappear.
- Bouncing Fireballs: The direction of the fireballs are random, so keep an eye out for its movements and use the gaps of how the projectiles are moving to reposition yourself and to avoid getting hit.
