Buffe is an NPC in Vigil the Longest Night. NPCs are characters that can be interacted with or are shown in the game. NPCs are characters that add contrast to the game's lore where they provide information, some are categorized as quest givers, while others are categorized as Merchants whom you can trade with or request for certain services.

Buffe Information
Buffe is an old man who has been living in Maye Town for at least five decades. After realizing that he's getting too old to take care of his house alone Buffe decided to sell it for a mere 10,000,000 Gold. He offers the house to Leila, who can either pay the entire price or agree to Buffe's "installment plan" and pay only 10,000. For Buffe to lower the price select "No" when prompted to pay 10,000,000 Gold.
After the deal is made Buffe reveals that he never actually owned the house he just sold: he moved in 50 years ago, and no one came back to claim it in all that time. Leila then offers to hire Buffe as a housekeeper, for which he is very grateful. Buffe moves into the house and an option to place collected house decorations becomes available.

Buffe Notes & Tips
- Purchasing the house (discounted or not) unlocks the "I'm RICH" achievement.
- Collecting and placing all furniture unlocks the "Home Sweet Home" achievement.
- If you pay Buffe 10,000,000 Gold the house's exterior will change. This has no impact on the house's interior. This can be done after purchasing the house for 10,000 - simply speak to Buffe after obtaining the money.
- The "fastest" way to get 10 millions is to max out Money Drop stat (see Golden Armor Set notes for details) and repeatedly kill a Corpse Ball in the room west of B5 Owl Statue in the Sewer on Estuary. Even with maxed out Money Drop it's still quite a tedious grind.
- The house belonged to the Professor in prologue.
